I am a humbled cancer survivor living life in the Now. As a proud ground adrenaline junkie, I explore nature by foot or bike fast, finding relaxation when slowing down / renewing myself in grass, dirt, water, and fresh air. World traveling is my passion and experiencing new places as a local is a favorite of mine.
I proudly served in the United States Army Reserves for 6 years. As an Academia Educator and Life-Long Learner, I hold five degrees: two terminal degrees (Doctor of Business Administration, abd, and Master of Science in Management), a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and two Associate degrees (Political Science and General Studies). My recent certifications include Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), and Microsoft Azure.
I am a mother to eight wonderful children: two biological and six shared bonus children. In my nearly two-decade corporate career, I have served as a Voice for the Customer, supporting strategic efforts and managing global, diverse teams. Standing firm on truth and managing relationships has been crucial to my success.
Parallel to my corporate career, I have spent almost a decade as a college professor in the undergrad school of business, teaching Communication, Organizational Management, Business Fundamentals, and Project Management. My personal journey has led me to invest in self-development and to brand my personal core principles.
